There are now many types of 'EC Pants' or Training Pants available to add to your convenience when practicing EC.

The specialist types have adaptations for baby pottying access: they are easily removed or partially open for potty access, simpler changing, or easier drying.

EC Pants are designed and made by parents who have practiced EC, so they know what you need for easier potty breaks and puddle prevention!

Trainers are simple to pull up and down. They offer the toddler access to earlier independence, and are very convenient to switch when there are no change facilities available.

They prevent puddles, feel like regular underwear and look great. They have little bulk, and go in the regular wash as generally by this time you are in an 'EC Groove' and wet pants is the main issue to deal with. They are also more economical to buy.

Note: Commercial varieties of training pants available in supermarket chains are usually available in toddler sizes only, and often are pretty poor at puddle catching, with only a bit of foam for a soaker, as well as being 'crinkly' with plastic liners. Disposable Training Pants are really just more expensive throw away nappies. Use them thoughtfully.
