Even Babies Benefit from Wearing Training Pants; The Quick Changes Help You and Your Baby Satay Aware of Their Needs And Minimise Risk of Rash. When Considering Training Pants, Think Reusable; You'll Save Money and Help Reduce Waste.

Your toddler can be more involved in managing reusable training pants, aiding their striving for independence.

They can pop wet pants in the wash and collect fresh pants, aiding their independence, as it is something they will seek to do themselves at a later stage in the process. This is great for the growth of cooperative behaviour as well as aiding their budding self responsibility.

Remember to give them plenty of bare bottom time at home out in nature. Playing on the grass in the back yard is an ideal way for your toddler to learn about their body's needs without managing clothes. Simply have a potty available. That's another way to save - at home minimise the overall use of training pants. It will help their switch to regular underwear.

Here are 3 Simple Ideas That Will Reduce Your Spending on Training Pants:

1. Skip the Disposable, One Use Training Pants as Much as Possible.

They are expensive to you and the Earth! Aim to minimise use of them to outings. 'Pre-cycle' (prevent waste AND save) by buying them in bulk.

2. Favour Reusable, Washable Cloth Training Pants

Budget trainers available at the big shopping chains can be purchased for less than $10. As they are pretty poor puddle catchers and sound crinkly, adapt commercial training pants by adding towelling to the soaker area, use a wash cloth cut to match the soaker area, perhaps lined with some old flannel PJ Fabric or some polar fleece for comfort. Very economical and the recycling is eco-friendly.

3. Buy Hand Made, Reusable Cloth Training Pants Made by a Work at Home Parent.

'Modern Cloth' training Pants are much better quality. Puddle prevention is far superior. The added benefit is a fashionable item that has real resale value. Yes, by selling them at online cloth marketing  centres you can recoup some of your costs! Can't do that with disposables...

With these 3 tips, you know have helpful ideas to consider when shopping for training pants for your toddler.

By saving, you'll also feel more relaxed in helping them through this important phase of their development, without worrying about expensive budget drain of one-use disposable training pants that are used for a few hours before going into the bin.
